This one is about ten feet tall and about that thick through and parts of it die each year or so. I need to cut out that part now or soon.

If you remove the dead wood the rest will grow and fill in that spot or so it has for me. You can also cut off a healthy pencil size limb, strip the leaves off and insert it down into the ground where it stays moist but not wet and it will grow.
